YP Yuanpu Wang is an artist and designer fascinated by light, colors, and ephemeral pheonomena. He works with installations, sculptures, chem and bio processes, photography, video and graphics. His work is at the intersection of art and design, in which research plays a big role laying the framework for his artistic experiments. He was born in Xi’an, China and had lived and worked in the US before moving to the Netherlands. He holds a master's degree in Contextual Design from Design Academy Eindhoven.
Radial started off as a series of line sketches. As I started adding color to the empty shapes, I tried to push radial gradient to its limit. Later, I added the images into After Effects and created "blossoming" looping videos.
